Underwear, the covering for your nether regions is probably the most important and overlooked layer that you wear. I prefer boxers myself, especially when they are made of a moisture wicking material, and if they are odor resistant even better.
Exofficio boxers are comfortable to wear and feature a generous cut. They do well at wicking moisture and will keep you dry during rigorous activities. The material is soft and stretchy and dries quickly. I have been using these everyday now for the last few months and like everything about them. When traveling I carry 3 pairs and wash them as I go. Just soap them up in the sink and wring them out and they will be dry within a few hours.
Having a good base layer really does make a difference in keeping you comfortable. No one should ever have to experience monkey butt. It’s no fun at all.
These cost more than cotton but in my opinion are definitely worth it.
